Job Brief

Medium has a fantastic opportunity for an Account Executive to join an exciting and fast growing Marketing Agency. You will be working with talented individuals who are respected in the retail tech landscape, helping to build, manage and grow the accounts. 

The successful candidate will work alongside Account Directors and Managers, with an initial focus on administrative, planning and executional tasks.  Medium has a great culture - providing a lot of autonomy and opportunity to grow, with a lot of fun thrown in. Working alongside experienced individuals in the field will give you the opportunity to learn and progress within the Client Services team. 

We are looking for an Account Executive with exceptional organisational skills, who is task oriented, and has the ability to ensure projects are kept on track and raise any concerns - essentially ensuring the smooth running of campaigns and projects.   


Responsibilities

  • Writing artwork and copy briefs that are clear and easy to understand and reflect the requirements of the client

  • Act as the first point of review for artwork and copy - ensuring it answers the requirements outlined in the brief, and ensuring high quality output

  • Creating, updating and sharing client status reports - ensuring input is requested and provided by the client services team.

  • Building, setting up, scheduling, and proofreading marketing campaign assets, such as emails, social media posts, and ppc ads

  • Setting up internal and external calls, with clear agendas

  • Creating and sharing meeting notes and follow-ups, outlining key next steps and actions

  • Administration tasks that will help to keep campaigns well-managed and organised

  • Building campaign tasks within Asana (Project management tool)


Requirements (Essential)

  • A degree or training in a topic related to the field (e.g. Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • First class organisation skills

  • A proactive approach to managing projects

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Experience working as part of a team

  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook

  • A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport

  • The confidence to give clients trust in your work

Requirements (Preferable)

  • Experience in a Marketing Agency environment

  • Experience in the Retail Tech space

  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Nav, Google Ads, Google sheets

  • Experience with tools such as; HubSpot (working in system), Apollo, etc.

  • Ability to understand and communicate marketing data, such as campaign results
