Job Brief
Medium has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Account Director to join an exciting and fast growing agency. You will be working with individuals who are respected in the retail tech landscape, helping to build, manage and grow the accounts. The successful candidate will have total ownership and management of a number of strategic accounts - taking projects from inception through to execution (planning, coordinating across teams, managing budgets and reporting on success) and nurturing the client relationships. We are looking for an individual who has a great aptitude for building and maintaining customer relationships. The ultimate goal is to ensure campaigns are successful, to encourage customer retention and facilitate further business growth. The individual should have strong experience in field marketing, demand generation and ABM. We are also looking for someone who has managed B2B content programs. It is imperative that the candidate has a proven track record of delivering strong campaign performance, with the ability to implement tracking and provide reporting.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within your portfolio

Proactively consult customers on their needs and develop a solid understanding of their business, processes and competitive landscape

Develop short and long term strategy for customers

Develop and run a content plan

Manage day-to-day activities to ensure work stays on track and is delivered successfully, including briefings to relevant teams

Setup of campaigns and tracking to ensure performance is monitored

Manage the evaluation process against KPIs and pivot where required

Manage QBR process and seek new opportunities

Resolve issues and maintain and strengthen customer trust

Work alongside team members to develop strategic recommendations and tactics for clients; regularly identify and present new ideas to customers

Support with new business opportunities

Flag availability or need for additional resource to management

Manage internal status of jobs and due dates, advise senior team members of developments
Requirements (Essential)
-
5+ years' experience at Account Manager/Junior Account Director/Account Director level (or similar position), with experience in field marketing, demand generation and ABM
-
B2B SaaS Marketing experience

Demonstrable experience in meeting/exceeding customer requirements (results driven)

Solid experience in; managing budgets, reporting, presenting, total ownership of accounts, project management

Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics

Experience with CRM tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering long-term relationships

Outstanding organisational and project management skills

Experience in stakeholder management
Requirements (Preferable)

Experience in the Retail Tech space

Experience with LinkedIn Sales Nav, Google Ads, Google sheets, Excel

Experience with tools such as; HubSpot (working in system), Apollo etc

Line manager experience of junior members

Experience working with sales teams - bridging the gap between sales and marketing with a shared priority of lead generation
